Back Pain Between Shoulder Blades – Oh, My Aching Back!

There are three muscle groups that can cause back pain between shoulder blades. Those would be the rhomboid, the trapezium and the pectoral major. All three areas can cause radiated and direct pain the area of the back located between the shoulders. Pain in this area can be sharp, dull, burning, stabbing or throbbing. This pain is a common result of sitting at a desk for many hours of the day.
